1.5 cup Masoor dal
1 cup chopped onion
1.5inch ginger
3-4green chilli
10-12 curry leaves
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp salt or as per required
1 cup oil for deep frying
Directions
Wash and soak Masoor dal for 1 hour.
Then from the soak dal keep 2 tsp dal aside and make a batter from the rest of the dal.
Mix rest of the ingredients except oil in its batter.
Heat a Kadai with oil and deep fry the batter by making small fritters from it.
Now Masoor dal pakoda are ready.
Serve hot with ketchup and a cup of tea.
